If YOU don't STAND UP for what you believe in, don't expect others to do so... Standing UP for what you BELIEVE in doesn't need to be with hatred for others AND RUDENESS or even with demoralizing others, STAND UP with pride and dignity and if you a LADY with CLASS, use your linguistics to make your mark and bring your message through that and one last thing, follow it through with ACTIONS as it does speak louder than words, let your actions be as classy as your words...

God is strategic God and He is very intentional about His children. When we are fully awake and we sit down to actually connect the dots we will see His hand on our lives all the time.   When you are going through a tough time, what is appreciated is empathy. The worst thing anyone can do is probe you to unpack your mess and after that give you their opinion. You know what that does, it makes that person feel like their trauma/ordeal has now been diminished. That creates more anger and bitterness than peace and harmony. So let me ask you, when your friend is going through a tough time, allow them to vent and speak their truth without judgement. Ask yourself the question 'How would I want my friend to respond to me if I was in her shoes?' and then you do accordingly. We are often so hell bent on sharing what we think would remedy a situation that we pay no mind to the scars of the aftermath certain experiences have left behind. Abused victims do not want to hear your thoughts and opinions, what they do want and will appreciate, is love, care, understanding and support. When someone shares something with you in confidence don't go jumping on their issues' band wagon, don't make their issue yours, respect their issue in the way it is presented to you don't go making up your own stories because in the end the person who shared with you has made peace with it and you who has now made it your issue is just showing that you are not that "mature" to deal with the information given, examine your own heart and deal with your issue accordingly.
